This policy explains what The Code Clinic, PLLC (“the Firm,” “we”) collects through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

What you give us: your name, phone number, email address, county, property address, the details of your code enforcement matter, any hearing date, and any documents you upload. We also keep the calls, texts and emails you exchange with us.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and decide whether we can represent you, including checking for conflicts of interest.
To communicate with you about your enquiry or matter, by phone, text message and email.
To send you agreements, documents and invoices, and to represent you if you hire the Firm.
To meet our legal and professional obligations as a law firm.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, you agree that The Code Clinic, PLLC may text you about your enquiry or your matter: replies to your enquiry, appointment and hearing reminders, requests for documents, and updates on your case.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of hiring the Firm.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in information and consent are not shared with anyone.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Firm — website hosting and forms, email delivery, telephone and text messaging, electronic signature, and secure document storage — and only so they can provide those services to us. If you hire the Firm, we share information with the city, county or tribunal handling your matter as your representation requires. We may also disclose information when the law or the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar require it.

Confidentiality

We treat what you tell us about your legal matter as confidential. Contacting us through this website does not by itself create an attorney–client relationship.

Security and how long we keep it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We keep it for as long as our professional obligations require, including client file retention.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to what we must keep by law. To stop texts, reply STOP. To ask about anything else, contact us:
